Horses can be vaccinated against a variety of diseases. It is very important to discuss with your Veterinarian what diseases your horse is at risk for before vaccinating. Most horses require a minimum of Rabies, Tetanus and West Nile Virus vaccinations annually. Other horses that attend shows or competitions may require vaccinations against Strangles, Rhinoviruses and Influenza. Some of the other disease concerns that we vaccinate against are Eastern and Western Equine Encephalomyelitis and Potomac Horse Fever. Please feel free to call about your vaccination questions or other health concerns.
